How to make a Yogurt smoothie
Full recipe is in the recipe card at the bottom of the post!
Ingredients
- Fresh watermelon, cubed
- Frozen strawberries
- Vanilla greek or coconut yogurt – opt for a THICK option.
- Vanilla protein powder – this is optional, but I love the vanilla protein and yogurt together. It makes it extra creamy and gives it some extra flavor and sweetness. Be sure to use a powder you love (however, you can leave it out!). I love Macro Mike Vanilla Buttercream – you can use my code “amb-dani” for a discount!
- Honey – this is optional, incase you want to add a touch of sweetness.
- Lime
- Celtic sea salt
- Ice, if needed
Steps
- Blend the fruit:
Add everything to a blender and blend until smooth and frothy. - Taste and adjust:
If you’d like it tangier, add more lime. For a thicker texture, add a few ice cubes and re-blend. If you want it sweeter, add a dash of honey or maple syrup. - Serve immediately:
Pour into a tall glass over ice, garnish with a slice of lime or strawberry if you’re feeling fancy, and enjoy!
Tips & Variations
- Make it dairy-free: Use coconut yogurt to keep it plant-based.
- Add chia seeds: Blend in a teaspoon of chia seeds for a fiber boost.
