These 5 ingredient Snickers Frozen Yogurt Bars are like a healthier classic Dairy Queen Dilly bar with added peanuts and the classic crunchy chocolate shell. They’re the perfect indulgent snack or dessert while being high in protein and lower in sugar than your typical treat!

DQ dilly bars
I grew up on Dairy Queen Dilly Bars so they feel extra nostalgic to me! I have my copycat recipe but wanted to add a Snickers twist, with peanut butter swirl and crunchy peanuts! They’re made with greek yogurt or coconut yogurt (so there’s dairy-free options!), are packed with protein, and are naturally sweetened with maple syrup. They’re rich, creamy, and sooo satisfying.
These bars are perfect for summer snacks, after-dinner treats, meal-prep desserts, or those moments when you want something sweet right now without baking, mixing forever, or dirtying every bowl in your kitchen 😉

Ingredients You’ll Need
Simple, pantry-friendly staples come together to create a ridiculously good dessert! I know I said they’re 5 ingredients, because
- Yogurt of choice (Greek yogurt or coconut yogurt works great): Be sure to use a thick variety as it’ll create a better texture!
- Peanut butter: feel free to use another nut butter if there’s peanut allergies!
- Protein powder: this is totally optional but it adds flavor/sweetness depending on the protein you use! If you are adding it, be sure it’s a variety you love the flavor of! I used Wellious!
- Peanuts (for that classic Snickers crunch): this is optional – you can also use crunchy peanut butter but it’s so delicious!
- Chocolate chips (regular, dark, or refined-sugar-free)
- Touch of maple syrup (optional, depending on sweetness preference)
- Vanilla extract & sea salt: Optional! But I love adding a touch of vanilla if my yogurt isn’t flavored.

How to Make Healthy Snickers Yogurt Bars
1. Mix the creamy base
Stir together yogurt, peanut butter, protein powder, and maple syrup until smooth and fluffy. Adjust sweetness to taste using a little maple syrup if needed. I like to add a touch of vanilla extract and sea salt, too!
2. Form the pops.
Line a small baking dish with parchment paper and use a cookie scoop or spoon to drop blobs onto the tray.
3. Add the “Snickers” magic
Drizzle peanut butter over top of each one, swirling it in. Sprinkle crushed peanuts over the top. Then drizzle melted chocolate over each.
4. Freeze
Freeze for 2–3 hours, or until they’re firm. Enjoy! Store leftovers in an air-tight container in the freezer. When ready to eat, let it sit out at room temp for 5ish minutes for the best texture.
Tips for the best snickers frozen yogurt Bars
- Use full-fat yogurt for the best texture or greek-style yogurt.
- If your peanut butter is super thick, warm it slightly to make mixing easier to swirl.

frozen yogurt bar Variations
- Dairy-Free Version: Use a coconut or almond milk yogurt.
- Lower Sugar Option: Choose an unsweetened yogurt and refined-sugar-free chocolate.
- Extra Protein: Add a scoop of collagen!
How to Store
These bars keep best in the freezer for up to 2 months. Slice first, then store between pieces of parchment so they don’t stick together.

Snickers Frozen Yogurt Bars
Ingredients
- 1 cup thick greek or coconut yogurt *I like vanilla
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 3 tbsp of your favorite protein powder *optional, but adds flavor & sweetness!
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- chopped peanuts (measure with your heart)
- 1 1/4 cups chocolate chips
- 1 tsp vanilla extract & pinch of sea salt (optional, but recommend!
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients besides the copped peanuts.
- Use an ice cream scoop or large cookie scoop to scoop the mixture into circles on a parchment-lined baking sheet. You don't have to add popsicle sticks, but I like to add them! I simply stick one in the side of each and use a spoon to kind of spread the yogurt mixture over it to ensure it's covered.
- Drizzle a little peanut butter over each one and swirl it in. Then add chopped peanuts.
- Pace the tray in the freezer for 2-3 hours until COMPLETELY firm.
- Once firm, add the chocolate to a bowl. Use the double boiler method to melt it or melt it in the microwave. You can heat it in 30 second increments, stirring well between each one, until smooth.
- Quickly dip or drizzle (see video) each ice cream bar into the chocolate & return to the baking sheet. I like to top each of mine with flakey sea salt. Return to the freezer for 15 minutes until the chocolate is totally hardened before moving to an air-tight container.Store in freezer for up to two months!
