Ingredients You’ll Need
- Greek yogurt or Coconut yogurt: The thicker, the better!
- Honey or maple syrup
- Almond or cashew butter: Sunflower seed butter or granola butter work as great nut-free options! You can use peanut butter, just be mindful it’s stronger in flavor and you’ll taste it so it won’t taste like that classic cookies & cream flavor!
- Protein powder: This is optional but adds extra protein, flavor, and creaminess to the recipe! Vanilla or cookies and cream flavored proteins are great! You can also use chocolate, but it’ll alter the color of the bites (still yummy, though!). I love Macro Mike’s Cookies & Cream protein or their Vanilla Buttercream! You can use my code “amb-dani” for a discount!
- Cookies: I love Simple Mills because their ingredients are amazing and gluten and refined sugar-free. I like their chocolate crunchy cookies or their chocolate sandwich cookies!

Cookie & Cream Frozen Yogurt Bites
Ingredients
- 1 cup thick greek or coconut yogurt
- 2 tbsp almond or cashew butter *sunflower butter or Granola butter for nut-free!
- 3 tbsp protein powder (optional – use a flavor you love the taste of!) *vanilla, cookies & cream, etc.
- 3 tbsp maple syrup or honey *more to taste
- 1 tsp vanilla extract & pinch of sea salt
- Simple Mills Cookies (or cookies of choice)
Instructions
- Mix together the frozen yogurt mixture: Combine the yogurt, nut butter, sweetener, optional protein, sea salt, and vanilla in a large bowl. Whisk together until smooth, thick, and creamy. Taste the mixture & adjust as you'd like (more maple/honey, vanilla, etc).
- Chop up or crumble as many cookies as you'd like into the mixture, folding them in.
- Divide the yogurt mixture amongst your mold, filling each crevice about 2/3 way full.
- Melt the chocolate: In a small bowl, add the coconut oil and chocolate. You can melt the chocolate using the double-boiler method or in the microwave. Microwave in 30 second increments, stirring well between each, until completely smooth. Add a little chocolate to the top of each bite, filling that last 1/3 of each crevice.
- Freeze! You'll want to freeze the bites for 3-4 hours before removing them from the molds. Store in an air-tight container in the freezer for up to two months. Let the bites thaw a few minutes before enjoying for the creamiest texture.
