There’s something about fall that makes me want to reset everything. My morning routine, my wellness habits, my skincare… anyone else?! Give me a cozy morning, a warm drink, and a just few little rituals that make me feel good, and I’m a happy gal. But one thing i’m always thinking about is how much focus there is on what we put on our skin versus how we support it from within (the missing puzzle piece, for some!!). So let’s get into my secret for happy, hydrated skin!

I’m definitely guilty of trying a new serum or moisturizer in hopes of getting that healthy, glowy skin we all want. And while I love my skincare products, I’ve become so much more interested in the little everyday habits that support how I look and feel, too (especially with my nutrition background). Because i’ll be honest, i’d rather have a few simple things that actually fit into my life rather than a 12 step routine.
SO, what can we ADD to our diets to improve our skin? (the last one is my secret ingredient!!)
5 Fall Foods/Drinks to Add to Your Plate for Happy Skin 🍂
1. Pumpkin
Is it even fall if we’re not adding pumpkin to everything?! Beyond being the star of all our favorite cozy recipes, pumpkin contains beta-carotene, which your body can convert into vitamin A. Vitamin A plays an important role in normal skin health, making pumpkin a delicious seasonal addition to your routine. Add it to smoothies, oatmeal, soups, or your favorite healthy pumpkin muffins!
2. Avocados
Healthy fats deserve a little more love! Avocados provide monounsaturated fats and vitamin E, an antioxidant that helps protect cells from oxidative damage. Dietary fats also help your body absorb fat-soluble vitamins. Add some avocado to your eggs, grain bowls, salads, or even make a creamy avocado dressing for your favorite fall salad.
3. Sweet Potatoes
Another fall staple I’m always happy to have in my kitchen! Sweet potatoes are rich in beta-carotene, which supports normal skin health and helps protect cells from oxidative stress. Roast them with cinnamon for a cozy side dish, stuff them with your favorite protein, or turn them into sweet potato brownies when you’re craving something chocolatey.
4. Walnuts and Pumpkin Seeds
A little crunch with some added benefits! Walnuts provide plant-based omega-3 fatty acid ALA, while pumpkin seeds contain zinc, a mineral that plays an important role in maintaining healthy skin. Sprinkle them over oatmeal, toss them into salads, or add a handful to your favorite homemade trail mix for an easy snack.
5. Citrus Fruits and Kiwi
Just because the weather is cooling down doesn’t mean we should forget about hydration! Oranges, grapefruit, and kiwi contain plenty of water, along with vitamin C, which your body needs to produce collagen. Collagen helps provide structure and support to your skin. Enjoy citrus as a snack, add kiwi to your breakfast bowl, or squeeze fresh lemon into your water for a little extra flavor.
6. Tea! Green tea is naturally rich in antioxidants called catechins, including EGCG, which have been studied for their potential role in protecting skin cells from oxidative stress caused by things like environmental exposure. Green tea also contains polyphenols that may can support healthy-looking skin.
Do not sleep on the benefits of tea! Which is exactly why I’ve been loving Pique’s Radiant Skin Protocol. Think of it as drinking your skincare. It’s just two simple daily rituals designed to support hydrated, radiant-looking skin from within.

So, What’s My glowy fall skin Secret?
As the weather gets cooler, my skin can definitely use a little extra love (we are DRY over here..) and hydration becomes even more of a priority for me. That’s where the Radiant Skin Protocol comes in!
Instead of adding yet another product to my bathroom shelf, I’m focusing on two simple drinks that make supporting my skin feel easy (and actually enjoyable). Plus, anything that makes my morning routine feel a little more luxurious without making it more complicated gets bonus points in my book!
First up: B·T Fountain
I start my day with Pique’s B·T Fountain, a beauty hydration formula featuring clinically studied ceramides, hyaluronic acid, and electrolytes. These ingredients are designed to support skin hydration and the skin barrier, helping skin look plumper, smoother, and more radiant. I love that this is a way to make my morning wellness routine feel a little more intentional without feeling like a task.
And later in the day? Sun Goddess Matcha.
If you know me, you know i’m a biggggg Matcha girl. Pique’s Sun Goddess Matcha is a ceremonial-grade matcha that’s naturally rich in antioxidants, including EGCG. Antioxidants help protect against oxidative stress, which can contribute to visible signs of skin aging over time.
It also contains L-theanine, an amino acid naturally found in tea. I love making this part of my afternoon ritual when I want a little pick-me-up or a moment to slow down. Basically, it’s my excuse to make a delicious matcha, take a breather, and do something nice for myself in the middle of a busy day <3 My collagen matcha is my favorite way to prepare it (recipe at the bottom of the post!).
When i’m feeling like an extra treat, I make a Sun Goddess Matcha Affogato. I simply mix the matcha with water until smooth, add my protein ice cream to a glass, and pour the matcha over top – DELICIOUS.

The Daily Ritual That Makes Self-Care Feel Like a Treat
One thing I’ve learned over the years is that wellness doesn’t have to mean doing MORE.
I’ve had seasons of my life when I thought being healthy meant constantly adding another habit, another workout, another supplement, or another thing to optimize. These days, I’m ll about finding simple routines that feel good, are easy to stick with, and fit into my everyday life.
That’s what I love about the Radiant Skin Protocol. It’s two easy drinks that fit into routines I’m already doing, with ingredients selected to support skin hydration and antioxidant protection.
And while no drink can replace a good skincare routine, daily sun protection, sleep, or a balanced diet, I love the idea of giving my skin a little extra support from the inside out.
My goal isn’t perfection or chasing every new wellness trend. It’s finding the little things that help me feel my best — and making them enjoyable enough that I actually want to keep doing them.
