Ingredients & their benefits

  • Strawberries: Loaded with vitamin C, a potent antioxidant that supports collagen production, fights free radicals, and promotes a glowing complexion. They also contain ellagic acid, which can help prevent skin damage and hyperpigmentation!
  • Beets: Beets are a superfood rich in betalains, which have anti-inflammatory and detoxifying properties. Beets support healthy blood flow, helping to deliver nutrients to your skin for a natural glow. You will use raw beets for the juicer method and pre-peeled and steamed beets for the blender method.
  • Lemon: A citrus powerhouse, lemon is high in vitamin C and citric acid. It helps brighten skin, flush out toxins, and improve digestion—a factor for clear, radiant skin!
  • Oranges: Another vitamin C-rich fruit, oranges are excellent for boosting immunity and hydration. Their natural sugars provide energy, while their antioxidants help combat signs of aging.
  • Apple: Apples contain vitamin C and other antioxidants that help combat free radicals, promoting healthy skin and slowing the signs of aging. Apples have high water content, helping keep the skin hydrated. The fiber in apples aids digestion, promoting a clear and glowing complexion by removing toxins.
  • Ginger: Ginger offers a range of beauty benefits, containing antioxidants like gingerol that combat free radicals, reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, & other signs of aging.
  • Coconut water: Coconut water is an excellent natural hydrator due to its high water content & rich electrolyte composition, including potassium, sodium, & magnesium. It amazing for hydrating from the inside out!
  • Aloe vera juice: This is totally optional, you can also use more coconut water. However, aloe vera is incredibly healing for the gut. Packed with vitamins C and E, and antioxidants, it also combats free radical damage, promoting youthful skin by reducing wrinkles & improving elasticity. Be sure to get a high quality Aloe Vera Juice. I use the brand Lily of the Dessert!
  • Collagen: This is totally optional but adds in a dose of healthy gut and skin promoting properties!

  • Wash your produce. Add the strawberries, peeled and steamed beets, peeled orange, lemon, coconut water, and collagen to a blender, blending until super smooth.
  • Place a fine mesh strainer over a large mason jar (or something similar) and pour the mixture through the strainer, using a spoon to press it down to get the juice through. You may not have much pulp – that’s normal! Then pour this mixture into your glass containers!

These actually tasted SO good, I don’t usually like wellness shots! Thank you for the recipe – also loved that you didn’t need a juicer!

  2. Is there a way to make them into delicious gummies using grass-fed beef gelatin? I already saw your watermelon electrolyte gummies (next go-to recipe to try out once our grass-fed beef gelatin comes in the mail!), but the flavor profile of this wellness shot seems out of this world! Not to mention, that pink is gorgeous and would brighten our fridge up🩷
