A cold brew ice cream float made with vegan ice cream, cold brew poured over the top, with chocolate drizzle around the glass and whipped cream on top.

Growing up, my dad would would make himself these for dessert. Of course my brother and I seeing them, just HAD to have our own, so he’d make us our root beer floats and we’d be on our way. I can confidently say that I think these cold brew floats are ten times better than root beer floats – I am obsessed!

What you’ll need to make the vegan Cold Brew Floats:

Ice Cream: I like to use a vegan vanilla ice cream but any flavor works! I use the So Delicious! no sugar-added vanilla ice cream to keep things lower in sugar! Chocolate or mint chocolate chip ice cream would both be really fun flavors to use! Mix it up!

Cold Brew: Any kind will work! If you don’t have cold brew, you can also brew your favorite coffee & place in the freezer for a bit to chill!

Whipped Cream: Optional, but yum! I love using home-made or store-bought coconut whipped cream!

Chocolate for drizzling: I use Hu Kitchen ! You can use “danishealthyeats” for 15% off!

Your favorite glass! I will link the ones I love and used here!

Can you make ahead or store Vegan Cold Brew Floats?

This Is definitely a recipe that you want to make when you are ready to eat it! They won’t be as tasty if you try making them ahead of time, as the ice cream will melt and the cold brew will become diluted. For best taste and results, make right before you want to enjoy it!
