These no-bake snickers protein bites are the perfect meal prep to have a healthier treat on hand! With a bit of healthy fats and protein, they’ll keep your blood sugar more balanced than a treat without. And anything snickers flavored is a win!

If you have been following me for awhile now, you’ll know that I always have to have something sweet prepped for the week. I usually opt for a high-protein no-bake treat, because they’re my favorite and I always try and keep my blood sugar more balanced by including healthy fats and protein! These snickers bites are always on rotation – they are dangerous!
Do you have to use protein?
No! You don’t have to, however I love that a good tasting protein adds a little extra flavor and sweetness to the recipe. If you don’t have protein powder, just use more flour and a teaspoon of vanilla extract. You may also want to add a little extra sweetener.
What you need to make no-bake snickers protein bites:
Protein Powder: I always opt for Macro Mike because I absolutely love their flavors and the element it adds to the recipe! You can use the code “amb-dani” for a discount!
Peanut Butter: If you can’t have peanuts, feel free to sub any nut or seed butter! Sunbutter makes a great nut-free option.
Maple Syrup: Any sticky sweetener can be subbed.
Oat flour: I haven’t tested substitutes for this, but I’m sure almond flour would work, you would most likely need to use more than the recipe calls for.
Coconut oil: You can sub another neutral oil (avocado oil works great!)
Canned coconut milk: I haven’t tested a substitute, as you’re going to use the solid part from the top of the can.
How to make no-bake snickers protein bites:
It is so simple!
- Mix together the nougat base ingredients and press into your pan.
- Mix together the caramel ingredients and spread over the nougat base.
- Sprinkle on chopped peanuts.
- Place the pan in the freezer to firm up for an hour or two, before cutting them into bars/pieces.
- Melt chocolate and dip each bite, returning to the freezer until ready to eat.
- ENJOY!

No-Bake Snickers Protein Bites
Ingredients
Nougat Base
- 1/3 cup canned coconut milk (solid part from the top!)
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- •3 tbsp maple syrup (more if needed)
- 1/4 cup of your fave protein powder
- 1/4 cup oat flour *
- Pinch of sea salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
Caramel
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tbsp melted coconut oil
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Peanuts chopped
Coating
- 1 1/3 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Line a bread loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Combine all of the nougat ingredients until a dough forms. Press into the bottom of the pan.
- Mi together the caramel ingredients until smooth. Pour over the base. Sprinkle the chopped peanuts over top.
- Place the pan in the freezer for an hour or two to firm up.
- Melt the chocolate until smooth.
- Remove the bars from the freezer and cut into bites. Dip each one and place on a lined cookie sheet.
- Return to the freezer until set and ready to eat.
