Strawberry Whipped Honey
This strawberry whipped honey is a summer take on my classic whipped honey, that is spreadable creamed honey - pure gold! Use it on pancakes, in your matcha lattes, or spread some on sourdough toast. It comes together in about 20 minutes with only 1 ingredient - honey! It couldn't be easier to make!

Cuisine American
- 24 oz jar of raw, unfiltered honey
- 1/2-1 1.2 oz bag freeze dried strawberries *see notes.
Add the honey to the bowl of your stand mixer with the whisk attachment.
Turn the stand mixer onto the highest setting and let it whip for at least 20 minutes. The longer you let it whip, the fluffier it gets. Depending on the honey you use and your mixer, it may take less time/need more time. I usually let mine go for 25 minutes. You can't over-whip it, it'll jut get better and better!
While the honey is whipping, add about 1/2 bag of freeze dried strawberries to a coffee grinder. If you're using a blender, you can add the entire bag. Blend until it forms a SUPER fine powder and NO lumps/clumps remain.
Once the honey has been whipped for 20-25 minutes and is luscious, frothy, and creamy, add about 1/4-1/3 cup of the strawberry powder, letting it mix in entirely. If the color is too vibrant, i'd add two more tablespoons at a time, letting it mix in. You can taste the honey as well and add more strawberry powder as you'd like. The tartness of the strawberry powder is a great compliment to the sweetness of the honey!
Carefully pour the whipped honey into whatever container you're storing it in. Enjoy!
- Start with adding 1/4-1/3 cup of the strawberry powder at first. Taste and then add more as you'd like until it reaches the desired strawberry flavor! This is all up to you!
After the honey sits for a bit, you may see a foamy layer on top of the honey. This separation is totally normal, just give the honey a good stir before using!
