Pumpkin Spice Infused Maple Syrup

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup 100% Pure Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice *store-bought or homemade!
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract & pinch of sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Combine all of the ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove the pan from the heat and allow the syrup to cool completely. It thickens up a bit as it cools.
  • Once cooled, pour the syrup into a glass storage container and store in the fridge for 7-10 days.

Homemade pumpkin pie spice:
  • 3 Tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon ground allspice
