How to Make Whipped Honey

Whipped honey is a spreadable creamed honey that is pure gold. Use it on pancakes, in your matcha lattes, or spread some on sourdough toast. It comes together in about 20 minutes with only 1 ingredient - honey!

Ingredients

  • 24 oz jar of raw, unfiltered honey
  • 1 1/4 tsp cinnamon *optional. Chai spice would be amazing too!

Instructions

  • Add the honey to the bowl of your stand mixer with the whisk attachment.
  • Turn the stand mixer onto the highest setting and let it whip for at least 20 minutes. The longer you let it whip, the fluffier it gets. I usually let mine go for 25 minutes.
  • Carefully pour the whipped honey into whatever container you're storing it in. Enjoy!

Notes

    • Making a smaller batch: You can use 1 cup of honey and whip for about 10 minutes for a smaller batch!
    • How to store leftover whipped honey: Store whipped honey in an air-tight container, like a mason jar. I like to store it in the fridge. It gets SUPER thick and spreadable. However, if you find that to be too thick, you can leave it out on your counter.
    • How long does whipped honey last? Real, raw honey has no shelf life, so it will literally last forever, however i'm sure you'll go through it quickly!
    • Be patient & let it whip long enough! Depending on your mixer, honey used, etc., it may take longer to get super fluffy. I find it does thicken up as it sits in your storage jar as well. I find around the 25 minute mark to be perfect for me!
    • Can you make honey with a hand mixer? Yes, but be prepared to be whipping for a WHILE.
