Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup ginger root, peeled and chopped small
  • 1/3 cup Lemon juice
  • 2 small knobs of turmeric, peeled and chopped small
  • 1/4-1/3 Coconut water
  • 1 orange, peeled and cut into smaller pieces (I like naval oranges or sumo's)
  • little pinch of black pepper *needed for nutrient absorption!

Instructions

  • Add the peeled and chopped ginger and turmeric, orange, lemon juice, pinch of pepper, and coconut water to a high powered blender, blending a few minutes until smooth.
  • You can pour the mixture through a strainer if your blender isn't super strong, but I just leave it as-is! If your mixture is too thick or potent for your liking, blend in a little extra coconut water or filtered water at a time, until your happy with the results (but keep i mind - these are shots, so they are meant to be potent!)
  • Strain/filter the mixture through a nut milk bag or fine mesh strainer into a large bowl or pitcher prior to pouring into the shot glasses.
  • Pour into individual shot glasses (mine are 2oz) and store in the fridge. I like taking these on an empty stomach before breakfast!
