Healthy Homemade Dunkaroos

We are bringing back all the '90's nostalgia with this healthy Homemade Dunkaroos recipe! With just 4 simple ingredients, this version is secretly packed with protein, just as delicious, and doesn't contain any artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives! Best part? It can be customized to fit your dietary needs (vegan, paleo, gluten-free!)

Ingredients
  

Dunkaroos Dip

  • 1/2 cup THICK coconut yogurt or greek yogurt (I like unsweetened, vanilla)
  • 3/4 cup SoDelicious coconut whipped topping or other cool whip of choice *I like to use it almost frozen for a thicker texture!
  • 3 tbsp of your favorite protein powder (I like using vanilla or birthday cake)
  • 1/4 tsp almond extract
  • natural sprinkles (measure with your heart!)
  • Optional - 1-2 tbsp honey, maple syrup, or monk fruit drops

Cookies for dipping

  • Homemade or store-bough cookies/graham crackers (I like using Simple Mills Sweet Thins)

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, combine all of the ingredients, mixing or whisking until no lumps remain. Taste & adjust as you'd like (add a dash of sweetener, vanilla, etc.)
  • Homemade or store-bought cookies - you can totally make your own cookies for dipping, however sometimes I want this NOW and don't have time to make anything. I LOVE using Simple Mills Sweet thins in a pinch! They have amazing ingredients. However, any cookie or graham cracker would be great!

Protein powder - vanilla is great, but you can feel free to have fun with the flavor here. I often use Macro Mike Birthday Cake or vanilla donut - so yummy! You can use my code "amb-dani" for a discount!
    • Can I omit the protein powder? Yes, of course! It does add flavor and sweetness to the recipe, so if you omit it, i'd recommend adding a splash of vanilla extract and possibly a dash of sweetener as well.
    • How to make vegan Dunkaroos? Simply use coconut yogurt and vegan protein powder!
