The Best S'mores Latte
We are ditching the $8 coffee shop lattes for this homemade S'mores Latte recipe! Made with a quick homemade chocolate milk, healthy marshmallow fluff, and espresso, it gives all the flavor of the classic campfire treat without heavy syrups or refined sugar!
Chocolate milk
- 1 cup raw cashews
- 3-4 cups filtered water (for extra thick milk, use 3 cups)
- 3-4 tbsp maple syrup or monk fruit OR 3-4 pitted medjool dates
- 1/4 cup raw cacao powder
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
For the espresso
- 2 espresso shots
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- good pinch of sea salt *don't skip!
Assembling the latte
Add the honey, sea salt, and cinnamon to the bottom of a bowl or espresso cup. Brew your espresso shots over top of it. Then, use a whisk to mix it well so the honey disolves.
Add some marshmallow fluff to the sides of your glass. Then add ice, the espresso, and lastly, the milk. You can dollop the marshmallow fluff over top or use a piping bag and pipe it over the top. I love sprinkling over a crushed Siete or Simple Mills cookie for extra fun! Enjoy!
