Hydrating Hibiscus Refresher
If you love ordering a Starbucks refresher but wish it had less sugar and more benefits, this healthy Hibiscus Refresher is it! It is super hydrating, packed with electrolytes, contains no added sugar, and incredibly refreshing!
Prep Time 5 minutes mins
Total Time 5 minutes mins
- 1 cup brewed hibiscus tea *preferably chilled!
- 1/2 cup coconut water
- 1/2 - 1 electrolyte packet of choice (I like strawberry, raspberry, or lemon!) *see notes for my fave brand!
- fresh lime wedges *you could also add frozen berries
- Ice
Brew a hibiscus tea bag in a cup of water for 5-10 minutes (depending on how strong you want it). I like to let mine chill in the freezer for a bit so it doesn't water down my ice.
When ready to enjoy, pour the tea into a glass. Add the coconut water and electrolyte pack. Use a whisk or electric frother to whisk it all up until there's no clumps. Taste & adjust as you'd like (more of the electrolyte packet, more coconut water, etc.).
Add ice and fresh lime wedges. Enjoy!
