Healthy Donut Holes (Vegan)
Healthy glazed donut holes are packed with wholesome ingredients and make a super delicious, nourishing, lower sugar snack or treat! Super chewy no bake donut hole filling is rolled into balls and covered in a vanilla glaze. They are no bake, vegan, gluten-free, & made with just a handful of ingredients.

Donut holes
- 2/3 cup raw cashews
- 1/4 cup vanilla protein powder *optional. can omit.
- 1 cup pitted, medjool dates *soaked in hot water for 20 mins. See notes.
- 2/3 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- pinch of sea salt
Glaze (you can also just dip them in melted white chocolate!)
- 1 cup monk fruit powdered sugar *or regular powdered sugar
- 3-4 tbsp milk, of choice
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
If your dates are a little firm, soak them in a bowl of hot water for 20 minutes. This is important to ensure they blend well. In a food processor, combine all of the dry ingredients. Process 30 seconds or so until the nuts and oats are broken down. Then add in the dates. Process another minute or so until the dough comes together, but careful not to over-process. Taste and adjust as needed.
I like to use a cookie scoop to scoop uniform scoops of dough onto a lined baking sheet. Then I roll the holes into perfect balls.
Mix together the glaze ingredients, adding 3 tbsp of milk at first and another if needed, until you reach a glaze consistency. Dip each donut hole into the glaze and return to the baking sheet.
Place in the fridge until they are firm to touch before moving to an air-tight container.
If you want to dip them in white chocolate, just melt some chocolate in a bowl, dip each ball, and return to the baking sheet. Place them in the freezer for 20 minutes or until hard, then move to an air-tight container. i actually love these from the freezer, but they can be stored in the fridge as well.
