Edible Vegan Cookie Dough
If you love oatmeal raisin cookies, you have to try this edible vegan oatmeal raisin cookie dough! It is high protein, no-bake, and vegan. I feel like this is the debate of the century - you're either team cookie or team dough, but I am a firm believer that this would turn anyone team dough! It tastes like the real deal while being vegan, gluten-free, and made with nutritious ingredients!
- 1/4 cup Protein Powder
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup organic rolled oats
- 1 tbsp vegan butter or ghee melted * See Notes
- 2 tbsp nut or seed butter **See notes
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Pinch of Sea Salt
- 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unsweetened raisins and/or chocolate chips
Mix all of the ingredients together. Depending on the protein powder you use, you may want to add an extra tbsp of melted butter if your dough is too dry (you could also try adding a little plant milk until it reaches your desired texture).
Stir in the raisins and/or chocolate chips.
Use a cookie scoop to form the dough into cookie dough balls.
Place in an air-tight container or baggie and place in the fridge or freezer. If freezing, enjoy straight from the freezer or let thaw a few minutes before enjoying,
*You can sub melted coconut oil, avocado oil, or olive oil but the butter gives it a real cookie dough feel!
**Any nut or seed butter will work, however I think cashew or almond taste best! Sunflower seed butter is a great nut-free option!
