A glass of spa water with pretty ice cubes

When it comes to skin health, energy levels, digestion, gut health, and overall wellbeing, my number one tip is hydration. However, hydration isn’t just slurping down as much water as possible – you want to make sure you’re hydrating properly!

If you struggle to get in your water intake, I highly recommend making it more fun by adding pretty ice cubes or making “spa water”. When placed in your water, the ice cubes melt and make a more refreshing, enjoyable and hydrating beverage! You can mix it up with different fruits, citrus, and herbs, too!

Why you’ll love this recipe

  • Makes hydration fun!
  • The pretty water ice cubes are so versatile so you can make them to your taste.
  • Packs in some extra nutrients and vitamins.
  • So easy to make – you can make a batch and store in the freezer for the week!

Top tips for proper hydration

  1. My first tip is to ensure you’re drinking CLEAN & safe water. A water filter is incredibly important. I know most can be eye sores and expensive. We love our Aquasana Clean Water Machine. It’s not huge, doesn’t take up a ton of counter space, and isn’t an eye sore. It also works SUPER quickly & tackles more contaminants than the leading pitcher filter! You can use my code DANI55 for 55% off a machine!
  2. Add electrolytes! Electrolytes are important for proper hydration. You don’t want to just chug plain water all day long as this will flush your system of important minerals. Electrolytes add these minerals back into your water and can improve energy levels, prevent muscle cramps, etc.
  3. Make hydration fun! These water cubes and “spa water” are my favorite ways to enjoy my water. They add some extra nutrients to your water, too, like vitamin C.
